We need a bit more info. What error message does it throw? Post your machine's specs here. Graphics Card, RAM etc.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

HP 2.93ghz .99GB RAM
No Error message. it just fades to black. It worked on my office pc. Same Disk.

Which Graphics Card do you have? Which version of Knoppix are you trying?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
