Knoppix 5.1.1 with touchscreen and evtouch
I have installed Knoppix 5.1.1 and I'm trying to make that work with LG touchscreen.
Well... I have found several ways how to get that work with Linux kernel and I have tryid those.
Basically steps I have done (and which works) (in simplified form...)
1. I have installed modified itmtouch driver.
2. I have changed xorg.conf.in in /etc/X11
3. I have added modprobe itmtouch to xsession.
After that I made CD but of course touchscreen does not work properly after these steps because touch-driver is still missing.
Step which does not work
1. I have installed evtouch.so and added touch section to xorg.conf.in.
After doing this step and making CD Knoppix loader fill fail with message "no suitable X-server found for your card". What can be wrong in my intallation.
Edit. If I drop out touchscreen section from xorg.conf.in OS works properly (except touching).

I hate touchscreen drivers.
is this a usb touchscreen or a serial touchscreen?

I was able to solve that problem by loading suitable glibc to kernel. Evtouch.so needed libc.so version 2.6.
