    Red face how to upgrade the kernel in KNOPPIX 5.1.1

    hi all
    I am using Knoppix 5.1.1. The kernel version in it is 2.6.19.3. For me i want to upgrade into 2.6.23.12. Can anyone provide me a link to the document to upgrade the kernel.

    I have created a debian linux image file for version 2.6.23.12 as per the page Google Image Result for http://www.falkotimme.com/howtos/debian_kernel2.6_compile/images/1.gif
    The above kernel image is taken by the way of boot the Knoppix live cd and done the steps for knoppix remastering and then image file is taken. But here i am not able to boot. Can anyone help to proceed with the same image file as kernel upgrade
