Knoppix from HDD? I know it exists...
I know there is supposedly a way you can extract the Knoppix disk and run it from a hdd, but no where can I find a useful resource explaining actually how to do this.
It should in effect workfrom an NTFS drive as well so that I can dump stuff via network onto the machine from my windows environment and then jump over to work from the Knoppix box as well.
A little bit OT, but I know this is supposedly something that Vector Linux should be able to do as well and I still have not figured out how to.
Greatful for any information on this very useful productivity topic.

Knoppix is not really meant for a hdd install - it should be used as a live CD.
Ed: but this may help if you decide that is really the approach you want to take

Thank you very much.
I'll fiddle around with it a bit.
