my system does not boot with knoppix
I have the knoppix 5.3 dvd . i am trying to boot my vista computer with the knoppix cd but my computer does not recognize the cd and goes into vista what should i do?
i and my drive is DVD drive please help me with it

Have you set DVD Drive as First Boot Device in BIOS?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

i think that is the problem but how do i do that after i enter in the bios setup

It's different from BIOS to BIOS, you'll need to browse through the BIOS menus to find it, it shouldn't be too difficult. Just make sure that the machine boots from the CD/DVD drive first.
