Knoppix 6.0.1, Saving Data?

There is no such penguin or Configurations of which you speak. And the 5.1 is not compatible with 6.0.1. Someone I know tried that.

I have used knoppix 5.1 to do this but I'm not sure if 6. supports it or not.

With Knoppix 6 it is crucial that the KNOPPIX and BOOT folders have been transferred to a Writeable Disk and are running from there. When this is done, the first thing that Knoppix will do is invite you to create a persistent image.
