can any of you tell me if it possible to install yahoo messenger with wine on the live cd format

i have pidgin that already installed but would be interested in the results as most of friends are using yahoo messnger

you can use your yahoo messenger account on pidgin

According to that:
WineHQ - Yahoo Instant Messenger
You can run the yahoo messenger programm with wine, but chat wont work.
So I also recommend pidgin.
Pidgin is a native linux programm, that does know the yahoo protocoll among many others.You must always face the curtain with a bow.
