Problem booting from USB
I installed Knoppix 6.2.1 on to my flash drive and it booted properly, but I had to stop the process of creating space to store settings by shutting down the computer. Does someone know how to restart this process?

Hi and Welcome !
Is it booting fine? Post the output of fdisk -l command here.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

/dev/sda2 * 1828 60802 473704448 7 HPFS/NTFS
Disk /dev/sdb: 16.2 GB, 16173236224 bytes

This doesn't look like a partition table
Probably you selected the wrong device.
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
