    trouble booting KNOPPIX 6.4 --freeze

    i have KNOPPIX 6.4 and i've been trying to get it to work. When it gets to the Compiz Fusion logo, it freezes. It booted up and worked once, but that was it. I made another CD and the same thing happens. any ideas? thanks.

    It booted up and worked once, but that was it.
    Have you made any changes to your hardware since then?
    Did you verify the download, usually with the md5checksum? Instructions are usually on the download page.
    Did you burn the CD at a slow speed?
    Can you post some hardware specs? RAM?

    yeah i verified the md5. i think its a RAM issue. thansk for the help
