One thing is missing in Knoppix-you cannot change - even if you go to system settings-the keyboard layout, for a different language. Is it a way to do it? Thanks....

Hello and welcome!
I don't run Knoppix so can't test it from my end, but check this wiki page to see if it helps you with this issue:

According to that, I have to go to Control Center, etc. But according to what I have on the DVD 6.7.1, you can only go to Preferences, Local, but it doesn't have "keyboard layout".

I haven't used Knoppix in a while. But some LiveCDs give you the chance to change your KB layout during boot.
Is this no longer the case in Knoppix?Jay
