Updating KNOPPIX 7 (CD)
I've tried updating KNOPPIX 7 (CD) installed on a flash-drive through the command line;
Code:apt-get update
The first responds as it should, but the second gets hung-up on Orca, saying that the original and gnome package conflict, and then updates nothing.Code:apt-get dist-upgrade
Has anyone other than me found this, and am I over-looking a way of updating that will bypass it?

You've come upon the primary reason why Knoppix is not meant to be installed on a hard drive but used as a Live CD. Conflicts. See the site below at knoppix.net:
HD Install Warning not to do it - Knoppix Documentation Wiki
Read the fourth paragraph, beginning with "Hopefully". It can be done if you have a lot of experience with Linux but I would think your best bet for help would be at Knoppix forums.

Yup, that's what I thought, too...
And I'm really not sure if I want to go about mucking with sources.list for the limited use I have.
Thanks for the input.
