Post Magnifyer in Knoppix 7.2 is a feature of Compiz-couldn't turn it off.

I had hit some keyboard sequence and had a magnified screen curser following my mouse around. Great for visually impared or to see small type, but I could not figure out how to turn it off. I finally realized that it was part of compiz preferences. So I went to main menu--.Preferences-->CompizConfig Settings Manager and found it in the Accessibility section. When I clicked on the Magnifier icon I found it was called magnifier box and that the key to turn it on was <Super> m, which also turns it off, it's a toggle. The super key is on the left bottom between the Ctrl and Alt keys.

I can be found either 40 miles west of Chicago, in Chicago, or in a galaxy far, far away.

Irritating isn't it when these things are so "easy" to find?
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
