    Question Knoppix HD install 7.7

I have decided to install Knoppix 7.7 onto a 4th partion in my Fedora system. The existing 3 partions are a /boot, a / and a swap for fedora, which uses grub2.
during the installation of Knoppix it finds the swap partion and uses that, but after copying files it wants me to install grub boot files etc. But I don't want to destroy my ability to also boot Fedora 26.
    How do I handle this?

you have to find the correct boot command line and add it to an existing grub installation.
imho it would be better to let fedora handle it; if os-prober is installed, an "update-grub" will find the knoppix install and most probably also the correct command line.
to be safe, also compare the files /etc/default/grub from both installs and edit where necessary, then re-run "update-grub".
