Every guide to installing Knoppix says to run knx-hdinstall, but that's all I got.
and when I tried to find it . . .

Every guide to installing Knoppix says to run knx-hdinstall, but that's all I got.
and when I tried to find it . . .

I'm using 3.7 and something very basic is wrong here.

Since posting I have found out that knx-hdinstall has been replaced with knoppix-installer. Much of the info I had read hadn't caught up with this, so I was loooking for something that wasn't there

Unfortunately knoppix-installer dosn't have the same Q&A method with partitioning. It simply runs some partitioning app that anyone new to Linux will have never seen before. Like the install, there's a lot of conflicting information about so getting Knoppix to run off a HD is far from simple.

i used to install knoppix using this cmd.... knx2hd ...try and tell me wheter it worx or not???

Hello everyone! Nice to meet you. If you want to install Knoppix on your HDD type this on console: sudo knoppix-installer. The old install commands are not supported anymore.
