Ok, I want to get into *nix for audio production and synthesis. I've got a g3 powerbook, so when I found knoppix-mib-ppc I was thrilled. I burned the iso and booted up from the cd and here's the problem.
1. All of my hardware was recocnized, but it says could not find the system clock.
2. Insted of booting to kde, I get the prompt 'knoppix:/dev#'
Can you help me?
thanks,

Maybe you should try using the knoppx26 option when you boot? it will use the 2.6 kernel
I don't know if it will help but its worth a try
