I've got Scientific Atlanta's Webstar epc2100 cable modem and Knoppix 3.8.1. Modem is connected via usb, and knoppix has no problems recognizing it as tty3. I need to use dhcp because of my provider's policy or whatever... When I try to open a website, a window pops up and says: 'no automatic proxy configuration scripts found' or something like that.
Can anyone help me out? [Please, don't tell me to get another nic] 8)
