I have a question, knoppix after install, it never ask if I want to begin the program using graphics, and than when I get stared, knoppix begin using comands

.

so, sombody know how to config knoppix (installed hd) begin using graphics.

after loggin in, try typing:

startx

or:

init5

one of those commands should get you into graphical mode

For automatical X11 start replace

Code:

id&#58;3&#58;initdefault&#58;

with

Code:

id&#58;5&#58;initdefault&#58;

in /etc/inittab

I tried to change 3 to 5 to start in graphic, but getin to the file, but there is 5,

, now I dont kno what to do

First, you must be root to change the settings, then save the file and restart your computer. It should boot into graphic mode.
