i ran knoppix 3.7 on a desktop and now 3.8 wont work but 3.8 does work on my laptop. any ideas?...

    need some error codes?

    If you can figure out whats stopping it then you can add some cheatcodes at the boot prompt that may get it going. The cheatcodes are on the 3.8 CD
