I am looking for a way to extract the boot part of an iso image, particularly the one for Knoppix (3.6). I have used the boot option:
knoppix tohd=/dev/sda1
so I can remove the CD and put others in. (I only have one optical drive)
I wish to put this boot image on a floppy so that all I have to do is put in a floppy, the boot program starts and I give these options:
knoppix fromhd=/dev/sda1
