    finger enable

    Is there any way to enable the finger command in knoppix ?
    also which knoppix command gives u the set of suid files in the "/" directory
    and what should be the permissions so as to make them secure .

    You can probably enable finger by editing /etc/inetd.conf and uncommenting it's line, then restart inetd.
    killall -HUP inetd
    To do this you must have the "finger" package installed, of course.
