Widescreen and custom resolutions
Do any of you guys and gals have any experience with Knoppix on weird resolutions? In my case, an Apple Cinema display. (No, this is not a mac)

I've messed around with it, but I usually bang in an xorg.conf and restart the X server. I take a copy of my own from (at the time) Mandrake and just change the driver reference to nv from nvidia. I've done that with a lot of live discs.
Actually, I have a 1920x1200 monitor WUXGA and it is never automatically configured, even though xorg has standard configs for this monitor now. I tried a Ubuntu live disc today and it automatically fond and configured it to the correct resolution! Well impressed.
