    Altering GRUB

I had installed knoppix 3.7v on my computer(it had no other operating system before the installation). The installation went fine. Now, when I rebooted the machine it gave me grub prompt. I dont know to use the commands in the grub and make knoppix run. Please let me know what could be the reason behind this and let me know how to alter the GRUB.

You need to check out this tutorial by Nerderello.

He explains how to use the setup, root, kernel and initrd commands to get your system to boot correctly.
