error in knoppix 3.4 installed to hdd

I installed knoppix 3.4 to HDD, and then run some scripts from http://kanotix.com/files/
that is the list of scripts that i have run:

fix-all-global.bash
fix-applnk.bash
fix-grub-kanotix.sh
fix-include-linux.sh
remove-orphans.sh
fix-all-local.bash
fix-cdrom.bash
fix-gtk2-qt.sh
fix-ssh.sh
remove-startup-services.bash
fix-alsa-kanotix.sh
fix-dpi-kdm.bash
fix-include-glibc.sh
install-nvidia-debian.sh

after that while trying to istall software and typing ./configure i get dollowing error:

checking how to run the C preprocessor... /lib/cpp
configure: error: C preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check
See `config.log' for more detail

it happens to more that one program.

what can i do now?

You might want to upgrade to Knoppix 3.9 (the latest version as of today), since 3.4 is several months old. Perhaps those scripts you ran are specific to a certain version of Knoppix.

Please paste the contents of config.log.

it is ok now, i have moved to SuSe....
