Microsoft Mouse
Okay, I downloaded Knoppix 3.9 on CD yesterday so I can clear my linux drive to install Ubuntu using Qtparted, but I'm afraid of something:
When I first tried SLAX, my Microsoft Optical Mouse (plugged in USB directly) would not work in X as it's hardware detection detected it as PS/2, and it was USB. But when I used it on another computer (with it's base PS/2 mouse), it worked fine.
Do I have to do something special to make it work?

If it doesn't work you'll have to edit the X configuration file, which isn't that hard.

Yes, it detected it, and it worked! Knoppix has a very interesting cursor design, and you can say that again!
