CPU stability tests from Live Linux CD

I want to test my CPU for stability. I have an overclocked system. The traditional way of doing this is to run Prime95 in windows. Several problems with this are: windows, running something that crashes windows if it does its job.

Is there a CPU stability, stress test that I can run from a Linux CD?

I have heard of a Knoppix knockoff called Overclockix. Know anything about it?

Overclockix is a distro based on knoppix.
But they do have tools on there that you might be able to use.

Pick up a starving dog, prosper him, and he won't bite you.
This is the main difference between men and dogs.
