    quick question about captive ntfs needing a quick answer


    My windows install dosent want to boot and im using knoppix to rescue files, but i cant write to my ntfs partition and ive been toldto use captive NTFS.

    however captive ntfs dosent want to find the files i need-ntfs.sys and the other one. ive put them in atleast 10 places now and it cant find ANY of them. ive also tried specifying where they are but after i click forward it just goes blank again.

    i really need my system running again-please help me

    From what I have rea about captive-ntfs it sometimes does not work.

    If you could tell me the error that you are getting hen trying to boot Windows maybe I could help you with that.
