    knoppix remastering kde didnt start

    i did the knoppix remastering process as told in knoppix site.
    i removed a couple of softwares using dselect..
    i m not sure whether i removed without conflicts.
    but after creating the iso and burining it in the cd
    i started it.. it booted as like the original one..but when kde was to start..
    a message sorry kde could not dropped in it some low memory gui shell
    i dont remember the exact error report message...

    Have you tried using a differnt desktop?

    at the prompt, instead of pressing enter to boot, try typing

    knoppix desktop=fluxbox
    knoppix desktip=icewm
    knoppix desktop=twm
    if none of these's probably stuffed
