Startup Messages
Hello,
I am currently working on customizing the latetst version of Knoppix
and putting it on CD. I have been able make all modifications and burn
a working CD. However, I would like to change/remove some of the
messages displayed after the startup of the Linux kernel :
Welcome to the KNOPPIX live Linux-on-CD!
...
Accessing KNOPPIX CDROM at ...
...
Auto configuring devices ...
...
(*)
...
INIT: Entering runlevel: 5
...
I have not been able to find where these messages are being created and
can not find where to modify them. Does anyone know what file is
creating these messages and how I can remove/change them?
Thanks!!
