    Quicker startup??

    So how 'bout it? I love knoppix even though its the first distro I've ever tried. It does everything I need it to and I have had no problems with it. The only thing I don't like is the slow bootup. I noticed for one thing that every time it boots up, it checks my NTFS drives and says that it can't use them. Is there any way of making it not do that? It takes about 8 seconds every time.

    You can use whatever cheatcodes apply to your particular setup to keep some hardware from being scanned:
