In fact, BitTorrent has for a long time been one of the most efficient way to distribute Linux distributions and other free software. It's highly regarded in the Linux community and most if not all Linux distros come with it. BitTorrent is commonly used for useful and legitimate purposes and it's not very suitable for illegal sharing anyhow (since the IPs are easy to track, etc.).

azureus looks appealing but there are various versions.
Including
Motif, GDK, AMD, PPP
How do i know which one to download for Knoppix??
