Knoppix Administratot PW???????????
PLEASE!!!!!...can anyone tell me what the PW is for Knoppix 4.0.2 DVD?....I just tried a new DL and am trying to configure an Internet connection but cant get past where it asks for a PW....I have tried root and just leaving it blank but get the "incorrect PW..." message....thanks in advance

Have you tryed changing the password while in root terminal.
As root type "passwd" and this will prompt you to enter your new password twice.<advertising NOT allowed in signatures>

No Beachboy,I hadnt tried that but it worked!!!...thanks for a simple answer to a simple question....I had asked this question in several other forums and got no help from the resident SP (self proclaimed) experts....thanks a lot!!!....:>)
