Is it supposed to take this long?
I'm trying to create a persistent KNOPPIX disk image on a partition 7.5GB formatted ext3 on a USB HDD. I answered no to the long paswword option and the progress bar 'zipped' to 96% complete and it's been there for well over 2 hours. Is this normal? I don't get much help from subjective phrases such as "this may take awhile" and "be patient". Is this a time for patience or plan 'B'.

Any help?

That doesn't sound right
If you can open up a terminal window, type 'top' and you'll get a display of your system activity.
My guess is that it's time for plan 'B'
Good Luck!

Wish I had one.
I guess I'll just save the config to a file. What would I have seen if it was still creating the persistent directory?
