just let it work, booting time is slower on CD, and thats what ur doing .. booting off a LIVE CD.. so depending on how fast your pc is.. it will take longer or shorter periods..
i have been using Knoppix, and it boots jsut fine.
Just give it a little time.

Yeah, it can take quite some time on slower pc's. I've tried on a 200 MHz 16MB ram. Took almost 15 minutes!
