Hi,

I am trying to partition an old Toshiba Satellite S2410 laptop. When I type run_qtparted, everything goes well. I select the device in the left-hand column and choose "Resize" from the context menu. Then I enter the parameters.

But when I then click "OK," I am given the following error message:

"An error happen during ped_file_system_open call."

Yes, the grammatical error is in the message. There is no other description of the error.

Can someone please tell me what is going wrong and how I can correct it?
