    First of all this is not the proper section in which the post should have been made. You should have used/browsed the Linux Scripting section as this is not a gentoo-specific question.
    Secondly please give more useful thread subjects in the future. "xterm" does not describe your problem much. Tell me how (no need to reply on this) will this help a user/guest browsing through the forum?

    About the problem: Just enter a line saying this

    About the root thing, because of security issues you will have to run the script as root or you may use sudo in which case there should be relevant entries made by visudo.
