ntfs problems
Hello, I am a complete novice to Knoppix-5, and would appreciate the benefit of your experience please.
I am trying to repair a w2k installation (ntfs), and I am having trouble seeing the relevant hdd (I'm so used to windows explorer), the hdd is shown on the knoppix desktop with a little arrow in the corner, which I assume means it is mounted. I would be most grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.
Thanks

You can't modify NTFS from Linux, you can read it from the relevant folder on /media or /mnt

Thanks for the reply, can I move/copy files/folders to another medium?. I'm assuming that i do this from terminal, excuse my abysmal ignorance, I've had it easy using the opposition.

Yes, you can read and save to a fat32 partition or device.
