Ideas for disk imaging Knoppix CD?
I want to be able to image a hard drive with a linux live cd. Ideally, I want to be able to resize an NTFS partition (so, gparted) and make an disk image directly onto a DVD, or just onto another partition on the drive. From there, I'd obviously want to be able to restore the image on another system. So boot up from the livecd, then be able to start the imaging utility, remove the livecd and insert the image dvd, and image the hard drive. What utilities would I need?

PartImage. create image through it and you can install saved image easily.
casperIt is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
