Knoppix V5-Hard disc install-Qtparted and printer setup menus are now in German

When I run from DVD menus are in English but since I installed on hard disc (beginner option) they have changed to German. I did not do an online update. Same problem when installed as Debian.

Anyone help on getting Englis menus back? Please

try running as root

dpkg-reconfigure locales

if that doesn't work, try

apt-get install localeconf
localeconf

and select what what you want

Unless something went really snafu with the install, you can change the language from control panel. Control panel>Regional & accessibility>Country Region & Language. If the language pack you want isnt there, check in Synaptic package manager and install from there.

No problem regarding language except for QTparted.
The live DVD opens it in english but the hard disc installed version opens it in german!

I am not long running Linux so was hoping for a simple solution without too much knowledge and experience with linux being needed.
