Knoppix newbie
I just got knoppix 5.0.1 and was wondering can this be run from hard drive? This is my first experience with linux and I like it. I would like to make my machine dual bootable with this and WinXP. I was also wondering can I save data and bookmarks with Knoppix on CD? Will Knoppix be able to updte itself from a CD? Can someone help me out? Thanks.

create 'Unpartitioned/free' space for Knoppix. you can use Partition Manager ( Qtparted ) in Knoppix. during Knoppix installation, select 'Unpartitioned/free space for Install'. installer will create/format partitions and setup Dual boot for you.
CasperIt is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
