I need help on how to get my Verizon VX8300 cell phone (modem is similar to VX4400/VX6000 and other LG phones I believe) connected to the internet. I attach the phone to my laptop via a usb cable.
I am able to get onto the internet in windows xp using software I got from the Verizon site but my windows xp software is in "trouble" and I expect it to crash any day now. The Knoppix Live works well on the computer so hopefully I will be able to get onto the internet via Linux until I return home in a couple of months.
