    knoppix boot problem



    I downloaded knoppix a couple of days ago an I put it on a CD. Today I tried booting at and it only gets to: looking for cd in:/dev/hdc
    and it freezes.

    It could be a bad download, or more likely a bad burn to the CD. Take a look here for instructions on properly downloading and burning an ISO file to CD:
