Hi, I am new to linux. I have Knoppix 4.0 soon to have 5.1 . I want to connect to the internet. Knoppix does not recognize my pci modem. I read that in the guide I may need a external serial modem. Can anyone guide me to which one and where to get. I am running win98 on my computer with a dial up connection. slow that is. I would like to know if i could boot from a usb stick if my bios dosen't support it. looking forward to learning more about this . Thank you.
