    Knoppix Boot Problem Again...



    I downloaded knoppix last night and I put it on a CD. Today I tried booting and it only gets to: looking for cd in:/dev/hdc and it freezes. I read the previous post on 3-6-07 about a boot problem, and It did not help. I have verified the md5 using fsum, and I also used the CDBurnerXP,and burnt it correctly, but it does not get any further than above. I am at a loss as to where to go from here. Any help would be nice. Thanks.

    Are you booting from a laptop, if so then I think you need to do some additional modifications, I have a similar problem , but only with a laptop, I do not have these problems on a desktop.
