    boot problem..urgently help



    i have a knoppix live cd 3.3
    my computer specifications are
    mother board.........AUSUTEK computer inc- K8V-VM ULTRA
    PROCESSOR AMD athlon(tm) 64 processor 2800+ with 1.7ghz
    ram 512mb
    if i boot my live cd and press enter for boot...a black screen appears immediately.
    there is no sigh for booting...
    what is the problem i don`t know?
    what can be done?
    is it compactible?
    is there any command?

    Knoppix is not configuring your Graphics Card. check this link and try cheatcodes for Graphics.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    i had the same issue with the black screen, poss due to my 7900 card.
    i booted with the line
    "xmodule=vesa" , this sorted the issue out fine for me
