Knoppix wont boot.
Hi. I'm new to Linux, and I just wanted to see how it works, so I downloaded Knoppix. I put it on a disc, in zipped form, and tried to boot my comp with it. However, when I put the disc in the drive and try to boot my comp with it, windows boots instead. So I went into my BIOS and only allowed the comp to boot from my cd drive and it said there was no disc. However, when I went into My Computer through windows and clicked on my disc drive, its showed knoppix was there. What am I doing wrong?

It's not in zipped form, it is an iso image. It needs to be burned as an image. You should generally see an option for "Burn ISO Image" or "Burn Disc Image". If it is burned correctly you should see multiple files and directories.
Do not try to extract it and burn the contents to disc. It needs to be burned as an image to ensure that it is bootable.
