    Compaq Pressario 1200 special keys and touchpad


    Hi, is there a way how to get work my special keys on my laptop? Who know about them cos I can't find their escape codes or is there some driver? Any experiences?

    You can use a program called xev (I think it's a part of xlib) to catch the keycodes. Then you can use xmodmap to map them to different keys (F13+). Then all you have to do is use a program to hotkey them (xmms does this with a built-in plugin for some functions) to what you like.
