    gobo linux wont turn off? (kde3.5)


    kde works great on my dell latitude cpx

    pentium 3 450mhz 192 ram

    things run great on it

    but when i click restart or turn off

    things quit but the screen goes black and it doesnt shut off untill i hit the power button physically


    any ideas?

    your motherboard does not have support for shutting down by software?

    im pretty sure it does


    before when i had it installed (im trying 321123 distributions at the moment to see which ones i like best) it ran fine, turned on and shut off fine.

    i just dont know whats been up with my disks or computer latley
