First post here! I'm a Brazilian "Linux-for-Desktops" user for a about 3 years now. Now I'm getting my first laptop computer and I'm picky (which means I know I'll have to pay more!). I turned in yesterday an Acer Aspire 5920-6990 because I didn't like the intel X3100 graphics accelerator. So, in order not to get annoyed by that, I traded that laptop for a HP6700T and, of course, paying more!

Anyway, I think it's a real shame to waste such a hardware on Windows Vista or XP, so I hope you guys help me with configuring it. Idea is to run Slackware 12.1 on it, which is the distro I know best!

To who owns a laptop like this, can you please share the kind of problems you ran into?
