No sound on IBM ThinkPad 390X
I've got an old IBM ThinkPad 390X, and I can't get the sound to work properly. There are no hardware problems, as it works just fine in Windows. I've tried Debian, Slackware, Knoppix, Gnoppix and Slax... I ran alsaconf, it reported no errors, but still the sound is corrupt... I'm quite desperate and willing to try almost anything.

Ah, nevermind, I just got it fixed after hours and hours of googling. If anyone else has the same problem, try disabling 'PCI bus power management' in the BIOS (it's by default set to 'automatic'), that solved my problem.
