    Unhappy [SOLVED] Help with OLD laptop.

    Nubie here, but learnig .. lol.

    I was given a very old laptop .. Compaq Presario 1245.

    From what I can see online it has
    64M ram
    4 Gig Hdd
    333mhz CPU

    Can this run Linux?
    What version of linux?? I was thinking of DSL.

    Yes, DSL would be a good starting place with the low RAM count on that machine.

    You could also look at Puppy Linux.

    I threw the laptop away. It just wasn't worth the effort.
